Top 56 Gacha Games by Revenue in January 2024
January 2024 was a worse month for gacha gaming in terms of downloads and revenue compared to December 2023, in part due to Christmas/Holidays hangover.
Overall gacha revenue decreased almost 7% to $320M while overall downloads were down almost 24% to 16M. Remember that these numbers don't include Chinese nor Desktop revenue/downloads.

Why It's Up: Navia banner plus the 2 new additions Xianyun and Gaming made Genshin players spend a bit more in January compared to Christmas season.
2) NIKKE - $27,000,000
Updated December 2023 Revenue: $20M
Why It's Up: Scarlet: Black Shadow and Modernia rerun banners plus other banners like Leona were enough to make NIKKE enthusiats spend more than last month.
3) Fate/Grand Order - $27,000,000
Updated December 2023 Revenue: $27M
Why It's Stable: Dedicated fan base, specially in Japan, that keeps Fate Grand Order on the top 5 every month no matter what.
4) Honkai: Star Rail - $20,000,000
Updated December 2023 Revenue: $28M
Why It's Down: A new free 5-star unit, Dr. Ratio, was sent to all players which meant less people pulling for his banner. This may be the calm before the storm as they are going to release the 2.0 update very soon.
